Who We Are
GEN3 Electric and HVAC is growing and we need HVAC Installers to join our diverse team. We keep on growing because we only hire the best, and our customers love us for it. We’ve been serving homeowners a long time here in Philly and just celebrated our 23 Year Anniversary. If you live in Philly you can’t miss our trucks, and yes Oggi really was our dog as GEN3 remains a family owned Philly business with locations open in Delco and South Philly, and our third in Montgo later this year.
There are NO weird or late hours, our HVAC Installers typically work 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. When you clock out you get to go home, and enjoy your life in peace as GEN3 does not provide on-call service. You will get a predictable and stable schedule and the training to do a good job and opportunity to advance. In addition, if you have a preconceived notion of "who" we are, unless you know us, you're probably wrong. GEN3 is an incredibly diverse company with 80+ employees who live throughout Philly.

The Big Task
You will accurately and efficiently install top of the line heating and air equipment in our customers homes with your assistant. GEN3 serves Philly homeowners and will install new and replacement residential systems of all types. Lead Installers should be capable and of installing mini-splits, split systems, heat pumps, boilers , package units, water source heat pumps and water heaters. Training is provided on all system types and experienced hands on manager available to help fill in gaps in training, so don't sweat it if you have something to learn.
Key Sub Tasks
- Maintain communication with your manager, warehouse and installation teams.
- Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
- Keep your truck inventory up to date.
- Properly complete paperwork.
- Supervise and mentor Installation Assistants.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
- Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
Desired Skills and Experience
If you can achieve the above and you find it fun and challenging - you have just the right amount. HVAC pros with more than three years of experience are preferred.

Pay and Benefits
Starting salary between $25 - $35 based on experience and ability to perform. Performance pay offered in addition to your hourly salary. All employees receive full medical, dental, 401k (matched up to 4%), PTO and more! That's right, we pay 100% of the policy premium for employee medical and dental with no waiting period. Benefits start the 1st of the month after your date of hire, so you don't have to worry about coverage gaps for you or your family.
